How it Works:
Step 1 - Finance from 70-75% of your home with a Valley Bank mortgage.
Step 2 - Get up to 30% of the home's cost as a loan or investment. (Helps to cover down payment and closing costs.)
Step 3 - Agree to a 1% annual equity cap plus principal reductions.
You invest 1% plus any uncovered costs, and we'll help negotiate to keep more in your pocket.
Important Things to Know:
- Homes must be in one of the 22 counties served by NeighborWorks Montana. (Some counties work with other non-profit lenders.)
- Completion of homebuyer's education course through NeighborWorks Montana is required.
- Hurry! Funds are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
